Agility Guard Updates:
Dear Forum,
Just want to deliver the great news on the success of the delivery of the AgilityGuards for the Cal Berkeley Football Team Friday. It was a little hectic due to the last minute notice and a little bit of running around to check all the NCAA rule compliance issues. Finally, we got the "GO" to show off the power of the AgilityGuards. We selected only about 15% of the team with AG and the rest with just the regular sportsguards. The head coach handpicked the key players and thanks to the help of Drs. Joseph Andary, Art Kwan, Gregg Ueckart for the special visit to the campus and helped out with the impressions back in April. Most importantly, special thanks to Dr Eric Yabu with all the help with the connections to make it happen! Without his help, we would never be able to spread the words around to the head coach in the beginning.
The delivery took more than four hours for almost the whole team(AG and regular). Honestly, I did smell some jealousy from some players that didn't get picked. Everybody who got fitted with AG with significantly improvements in flexibility, range of motion, strength and balance. I picked two key players(sorry can't name the players-NCAA annoying rules) and did the "Breath Test" on them. Both of them could hold their breaths almost 25% longer after the AG placed!(EVEN BOTH WERE TESTED AFTER THE FIRST TEST WITHOUT THE GAURDS!!). This really blew the trainers mind!!!
After all, EVERYONE was EXTREMELY impressed. There were some other intern students from the athletic department approached us afterwards and asked us a lot of questions. I directed them all to the website and they were all very thrilled to learn about the science and technology behind the guards.
The Team was very excited to try them on as they are starting the practice over this weekend and we should be hearing good news from them. They have a special storage box from the trainers and players are required to turn the guards back after trainings so the AGs won't be lost. I will try to keep in close touch with them to see how much improvement they will experience.
Again, thanks everyone for the hard work! Go Bears!!!!
Chris
